Major demolition begins
Last night, Angelo and Geoff helped Mike demo the kitchen and pull up some flooring. In a short amount of time my kitchen was gone... :)
Today Mike and I removed the molding and continued pulling up flooring. The worst part is pulling the thousands of little staples out of the subflooring that were used to secure the laminate floor. time consuming for sure!
As we suspected, the floor under the dishwasher will need replaced. We found out our DW had been leaking for a long time when we replaced it due to a separate problem, but we weren't sure how bad the damage was until now. Bissell Jr is coming by on Monday to instruct us on replacing the floor....
So tomorrow we hope to finish the demo and put Mike's planer together. :")
